Now that means something
Rahul Gandhi has touched almost a 100 seats in Lok Sabha
That’s not bad considering what he’s been up against
A 100 now maybe over 200 five years later?
It’s not a pipe dream
That’s what happens when Modi stops winning elections as he is likely to in Haryana, J&K, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Delhi and later Bihar (quite some time away but still)
Modi means victory and when Modi stops meaning victory is when the jackals and hyenas will begin to crawl out of the Sangh Pariwar woodwork
Yeah right!
The opposition can’t defeat Narendra Modi
Only the RSS coupled with the quite real annoyed and angry element in the BJP can and will
The other day Union Home Minister Amit Shah warned BJP cadres in Maharashtra against expressing dis-satisfaction in public
What are they supposed to do?
Complain to the Congress ?
When they see former Congress, NCP, Shiv Sena turncoats being sent to the Rajya Sabha and being all around the Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis?
What are they supposed to be satisfied with?
Unfolding carpets, putting up posters?
BJP is in trouble like the Congress was in 2014
And just like the Congress they have no idea they are in trouble
As they say “a victory teaches you nothing, you learn only from a defeat”
In the BJP’s case they didn’t really lose and did not really win
So there was nothing to learn
Since there was nothing to learn there was nothing to correct
As a result we get the same tired speeches and promises that no one believes anymore
Even a lame duck Congress has begun to sound better which shows just how bad things are
And then we have BJP spokespersons who do more damage to Modi than the Congress can ever do
Can Modi turn it around?
Of course he can
By speaking less, delivering more
This whole shebang about mediating in the Ukraine-Russia war, these vanity events in the USA, the entire machinery of self aggrandisement has to be placed on the backburner
Simple honest messaging about all that’s been achieved and what remains to be done will work miracles
Keep up the smoke and mirrors, the tinseltown glitz, the grandiose claims of India being leader of the world and you will lose election after election
Work on the ground
Forget your industrialist friends for a while
A1 A2 has caught on by the way
And if BJP is not careful it will begin to stick
The chaiwala who became PM was the best story ever
Stick with that
Show you are with the poor, the farmers and the middle class
And you don’t have to do very much
Don’t do that and you won’t be left with very much
