However we need to guard against hubris
This is just one small step
China is and will remain Pakistan’s all weather friend irrespective of whatever they may say or do elsewhere
So what does that mean for us?
First, the entire Himalayan region will remain “hot” for sometime; we can’t afford to let our guard down
Second, trade,cultural and social relations with China have to increase rapidly
Third, India’s trade deficit with China has to be balanced
Fourth, an India-China-Russia trade cartel could corner almost 30% of world trade in ten years!
In effect get the Chinese to commit more and more financial and cultural capital in India along with Russia
And there lies the solution
