HORRIBLE CRUELTY AGAINST COWS, BUFFALOES, CALVES in the name of COW PROTECTION

Even as #RIVERMARCH works hard to rejuvenate and resurrect the Dahisar River there are over 100 buffalo and cow sheds right next to the river bed that are pouring the worst affluents onto its riverbed; animal waste, methane, filth, even carcasses are thrown straight on to the river!
NGOs all around and members of the Housing Societies right next to the illegal buffalo and cow sheds have gone to court, have gone to the BMC, the state Govt to take action against the bovine shed owners as per the law!
Fact : After July 26, 2015 all buffalo sheds we’re supposed to have been moved outside the city limits
Fact : These buffalo sheds have defied the law and all Environment laws
Fact : Methane and Excrement pollution has made life hell for everyone all around
Fact : Both buffalos and cows are kept in the most nightmarish conditions
Fact : Buffalos, cows are chained in a manner that they cannot move
Fact : All animals here suffer from arthritis, terrible diseases and are in agony
Fact : All calves are tied and left in the Sun to starve to death
Now all residents around the area have sworn never to buy milk from these dairies that treat cows and buffalos in this horrendous manner!
What’s the Govt doing?
So far nothing!
But RIVER MARCH and others are not giving up!
